Privacy policy
We ask for as little as possible, keep it only as long as it is useful to you, and never sell it.
What we collect
Only what you send us: your name, email, the dates and garden you are asking about, and any notes you add to an enquiry. If you write to us directly, we keep that correspondence.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, to hold a room while you decide, and to prepare for your arrival: dietary needs, arrival times, anything you have told us that makes the stay better.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We do not add you to a mailing list because you enquired. Marketing only goes to people who have asked for it, and every message can be stopped in one click.
Who else sees it
The reservations team, the manager of the garden you are visiting, and the payment provider when a booking desk opens. Nobody else, and never for their own purposes.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Anonymous page counts help us see which gardens people read about; they carry no personal information and are never linked back to you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become stays are deleted after twelve months. Guest records are kept for seven years where Sri Lankan tax and hospitality law requires it, then removed.
Your rights
Ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or full deletion. We will act within thirty days and confirm in writing when it is done.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a fresh date. Material changes will be sent to anyone with an open enquiry or a confirmed stay.
Write to us and we will answer, correct or delete whatever you ask about.
